Germany is a beautiful crusing destination, plenty of nature and sparkling clean water that is great for swimming in, which we really enjoyed. I'd like to see water quality ratings more readily available, so we can factor that in to our choice of destination in the future. Canal information, particularly bridge opening times, were not well communicated at the base, resulting in an unexpected 6 hour wait for a bridge. And our initial plan to go east from the base was scuppered because a lock in that direction was under repair. However, in spite of these setbacks, we had a wonderful relaxing time.

Permanent discounts: Long cruise: 10% off the second week
Group discount: 5% for 2 boats; 7% for 3 boats; 10% for 4 boats
Family discount: 5% (1 child under 16); 10% (2+ children)
Senior discount: 5% if 1 person aboard is a minimum of 65 years old
