Burgundy

The historic Burgundy  and Nivernais canals have some fabulous sites to visit and very little commercial traffic, making this an ideal destination.

One week cruises:

St Florentin - Tonnerre - Ancy le Franc - Rougemont and return

St Florentin - Joigny- Sens - Pont sur Yonne and return

St Florentin - Laroche Migennes - Joigny- Auxerre-  Vermenton,  ONE WAY: Burgundy canal + Yonne + Nivernais canal: 96km, 41 locks, 22 hours cruising

 

Midi

The famous Canal du Midi meanders along the foot of the black mountains in the shadow of the might plane trees. Along it's course are charming small villages, canal side restaurants and of course the stunning fortress of Carcasonne. Our base at Capestand is on the 'Grand Bief' a 54 km lock-free stretch of the canal which follows the contours between Beziers and Le Somail.

One week cruises:

Capestang, Homps, Carcasonne and return: 30 hours cruising

Capestang, Beziers, Agde and return: 24 hours cruising

Capestang - Port Lauragais: One way..... New for 2012; 163kms, 63 locks, 32 hours cruising

 

Two week cruises:

Capestang- Castlenaudary and return: 54 hours cruising

Capestang , Beziers, Carnon and return: 50 hours cruising
