A map of the eastern inland waterways of France

This is a dense area of canals and rivers located in central France, mainly in Burgundy (not Burgandy).
The navigable waterways provide important communication routes between the north and south of France, connecting the rivers Seine and Rhone, the north of Europe to the Mediterranean sea.
