Enjoy the first of many delicious breakfasts served from the open galley before we begin this morning's cruise from Fleurey-sur-Ouche to Gissey-sur-Ouche, through breath-taking scenery. You can relax on board, take a dip in the hot tub or enjoy a gentle stroll or cycle along the tow path.
After lunch, we'll enjoy a wine tour in the most famous vineyards of the Cotes de Beaune to discover an authentic Domaine Bourguignon.
Step back in time in a private wine cellar dating from the 16th century, which was  built by Cistercian monks, for a tasting of some fine local wines.
Return to Rendez-Vous for evening dinner.

Tuesday: Gissey-sur-Ouche to La Bussiere-sur-Ouche
Explore a Magnificent Medieval Castle
Take your time to relax this morning while once again enjoying the beautiful scenery.
After lunch on board, we will visit one of the most beautiful villages in France, Chateauneuf-en-Auxois.  Your Tour Guide escorts you and will explain the history of it's 15th century fortress perched high above the valley. Discover the remarkable contrast between deprivations and decadence of France's history through the architecture and timeworn relics of the castle.  In the village, you can visit local craft shops, artists studios and tea-rooms or simply admire the incredible views.  You can take a great panoramic photo shot from the designated view point.
We then return to Rendez-Vous where you can enjoy a quiet stroll or bicycle ride, or simply relax while awaiting tonight's dinner.

Wednesday: La Bussiere-sur-Ouche
The best of Burgundy in Beaune
After a hearty breakfast, we leave the barge to drive through the Cote d'Or vineyards to the world-famous but still charming town of Beaune. Beneath the cobbled streets, the wine cellars house millions of bottles of various crus.
We will visit the world-famous immaculately preserved Hospice, the Hotel Dieu, a hospital dating back to Medieval times which was still in use during the 20th century.
The main hall, chapel and pharmacy are particularly fascinating.
In the inner courtyard, you can admire the beautiful roof tiles, an emblem of Burgundy.
There will be time to browse the pedestrian area lined with shops and cafés, before we adjourn for lunch at a lively bistro in the town.  After lunch, it's time to taste another delicacy of the region and discover how it's produced and refined, mustard.
We'll return to the Rendez-Vous for dinner on board in the peaceful mooring at La Bussiere sur Ouche.

Thursday: La Bussiere-sur-Ouche to Pont dOuche
A magical castle above the Burgundy canal
This morning we will cruise from La Bussiere-sur-Ouche to Pont d'Ouche: Explore the tow path or simply relax and wonder at the beauty, flora and fauna in view.
After lunch on board, we will visit the Clos de Vougeot where Cistercian monks made wine in the 12th century, to view the preserved presses from which early Burgundian wines were first produced.  The ancient Clos is now the headquarters of the Chevaliers du Tastevin, awarding special labels to the finest Cote d'Or vintages.   We'll then enjoy a private tasting in a local cellar before returning to Rendez-Vous where the Chef will present another dine dinner onboard.

Friday: Pont dOuche to Vandenesse-en-Auxois
Cheese tasting in the countryside
Friday is market day in nearby Dijon, and not to be missed!  The ancient "Les Halles" were designed by Gustave Eiffel, and still house market stalls brimming with local produce three times a week. From mustard, to wine, to fruit and vegetables and flowers, a riot of colour and fragrances fill the air offering a pleasurable assault of the senses.  Outside the market place, there is an array of beautiful boutiques, public gardens, ancient buildings and of course, bistros, all brimming with authentic French life.  Enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the ancient capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, before we return to Rendez-Vous for our lunch and afternoon cruise to Vandenesse-en-Auxois.
After an early evening stroll, it's time for our final feast at the Captain's Dinner.

Saturday: Return to Paris
