Johanna Luxury Cruises Terms & Conditions
Duration :
Cruises start on Sunday 4 PM and end on the following Saturday 10 AM.
Rates :
Cruise rates are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change by prior written notice.
Cruise rates include :
Transfers to and from the nominated meeting place (Narbonne train station unless otherwise stated) to the barge.
Accommodation for six nights in a private cabin with an en-suite bathroom. Breakfast, lunch and dinner each day whilst on board.
All wines with lunch and dinner on board.
Open bar on board for the duration of the cruise.
Chauffeured and guided excursions.
Use of bicycles for local sightseeing.
Transfers between the barge and arranged sightseeing destinations.
Cruise rates do not include the following:
Airfares and transport to the nominated meeting place.
Personal travel/cancellation insurance.
Special excursions and activities not confirmed at the time of booking.
Crew gratuities.
Booking, date changes, refunds :
A cruise booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a 30% deposit.
Booking dates may be amended and confirmed by email, subject to the availability of alternative dates.
Every effort will be made to accommodate a booking amendment at no additional cost.
Rescheduled bookings can be extended to a maximum of 1st November of the following year.
You may cancel the charter at any time, notice of cancellation must be received in writing (by email or post) and is valid upon receipt.
If cancellation is received more than 90 days prior to the charter, the deposit will be retained.
Cancellations received within 90 days of the start of the cruise are subject to forfeiture of the entire cost.
There will be no refunds made for days missed on the cruise.
Payment :
A deposit of 30 % is required to reserve a charter booking.
Receipt of deposit is taken as acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
The balance is due 90 days prior to the start date of the cruise.
Should the booking be made less than 90 days prior to the charter, the full payment amount is due upon confirmation of the cruise.
Payments are to be made in US Dollars (converted to Euro inclusive of all issuing and receiving bank charges) by bank transfer to « Johanna Luxury Cruises » nominated French bank.
Should the balance not be received 90 days before the charter, the booking is taken as cancelled and the deposit is forfeited.
Cruise route:
Changes in the cruising route and itinerary may occur due to unexpected circumstances, such as weather, lock closures and repairs, unusually high or low water levels, vessel unavailability, venue closures and other circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to alter the vessel and or cruise route and excursions accordingly to provide a satisfactory and equivalent alternative holiday experience.
Any such changes cannot be accepted as a reason for cruise cancellation or refund.
Failure to navigate due to lock closures, water level, weather or problems with the barge itself is not considered as a cancelled cruise.
Alternative and equally agreeable routes / excursions will be chosen where possible.
Security :
Onboard Johanna, our top priority is the safety and security of our guests and crew. By booking a cruise aboard Johanna, guests recognise and accept the existence of hazards inherent in travelling aboard the barge, its vehicles and related excursions.
These include, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping and falling, or injuries resulting from a collision.
The barge and its owner assume no responsibility or liability for a guest's illness, injury, death or loss or damage of personal items whilst aboard the barge, its vehicles (including bicycles), however caused.
For the comfort and safety of all onboard Johanna, smoking is not allowed inside the barge or its vehicles.
Smoking is permitted in outside areas.
The captain’s judgement on all matters regarding routing, crew and client safety and security is considered final.
Tour images :
Johanna Luxury Cruises may use guest images and video recordings while on tour for promotional purposes without compensation to the guest.
Any guest must notify the Captain before sailing if permission is not granted.
Insurance :
Insurance coverage for personal accident, injury, illness, loss or damage to personal effects, travel disruption and customer cruise cancellation is not included in the cruise price and no responsibility can be accepted for such occurrences.
We strongly recommend that guests insure themselves and their belongings.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to French Law and Courts of Justice which shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising from them.
