Yesterday, we had a wonderful day on the river Yonne by the town of Joigny in northern Burgundy.
It’s always great to see the Locaboat team: It’s hard to believe that we’ve been working together for 18 years now.
The Penichette Evolution
Top of our list was to explore the new Penichette Evolution from Locaboat. What a wonderful boat! This is a completely modular boat, perfect for a couple or even two couples.
You can fold the beds away during the day to give tonnes of space, though to be honest, you’re spoilt for choice aboard as there’s a stern terrace with a padded seating area and table, an equally comfy terrace on the bow, plus the top deck with its double seat for the Captain and his shipmate: There’s also plenty of space to sunbathe.

Locaboat Europa
Wow was the watchword for Europa! It is an exceptionally spacious boat, it’s a shame that there aren’t more in the fleet. Book early to avoid disappointment.
