The Lot: The river Lot is one of the best-kept secrets in France and winds its way through a landscape of spectacular natural beauty. A regional full of history as well as gastronomy, it gives access to one of the most picturesque parts of France, full of surprises at every bend of the river.The countryside is dotted with farmhouses, churches and castles, often perched high on the cliffs.Your base, Castlemoron sur Lot, is a charming city with quaint narrow streets and a Mooresque style chateau.Further south, Clairac is a very attractive town and home to three museums including the Abbaye des Automates situated in its old monastery, depicting lives of the monks and history of the town.

The Garonne and Baise: Historic walled villages are dotted along the Canal Lateral à la Garonne of which a 6km stretch takes you from the Lot to the River Baîse, a river lined with a sunning landscape and beautiful villages and towns steeped in history.  Tiled roofs, picturesque lanes and half-timbered houses form part of the magic of this cruise.
Along the way visit Nérac, set in a meander in the Baîse, a small town with a charming chateau dating back to Roman times.
