Elisabeth- Tanlay to Pouillenay
Elisabeth is owned and run by Peter and Sheena Jenner.
This English couple have been barging since 1991, the last 10 years aboard Elisabeth.
With Burgundy as their home, Peter and Sheena are excellent hosts being so familiar with the region.
As Sheena says: "We like to create fond memories with the personal touch".
Our CEO visited this boat in July 2009:"Elisabeth is a welcoming barge: Very clean, tastefully decorated, with good use of space throughout the barge, and a friendly team to insure a great cruise whether you are seeking adventures such as kayaking and tree-climbing, or a truly relaxed stay watching Burgundy drift by as you sip champagne." .

Elisabeth is a traditional barge, lovingly restored to a high standard while maintaining much of her authenticity.
As you step aboard, you can join Pete on the wheelhouse.
The raised wheelhouse offers an excellent view as you cruise, and with comfortable seating all our welcome to chat with Pete.
Having lived in the region for many years, he offers a commentary during the cruise concerning the history of the canals, the boat and of course any points of interest on the shore.
From the wheelhouse, descend the standard flight of stairs, complete with hand rail, down into the light, airy living area of the boat.
The galley is on the right, and you can, if you wish, watch the chef at work, preparing all meals with the freshest, local ingredients.
The saloon, (300 square feet) is tastefully decorated in rich creams, yellow and red tones with a tasting variety of wood, metal and fabrics.
A large dining table is complemented by a spacious seating area.
There is a TV for watching films from the extensive on-board library, and of course you are welcome to view any films that you make during your stay.
The cabins on Elisabeth, measuring 103sq feet including the ensuite bathrooms, can be configured for one double or two single beds.
There is ample storage space and with a separate luggage hold aboard, no need to keep suitcases in the cabins.
The ensuite bathrooms were all refitted just 3 years ago: Electric toilets, power showers and a handbasin, coupled with complimentary terry towelling robes and superior toiletries insure a comfortable stay.
Each cabin has it's own, independent air-conditioning and heating unit, and opening portholes.
On the top deck, teak furniture invites you to sit back with a glass of wine!
Enjoy the stunning views while the crew do all the work.
Elisabeth has one of the highest staff-guest ratio with 4 full time staff to look after 6 guests.
