The Niagara, a privately-owned, luxury vessel with a relaxed atmosphere, cruising on the Burgundy canal is one of just two vessels offering both 4 day and 7 day cruises.
Wheelchair access and a lift make this boat ideal for those with reduced mobility.

The MS Niagara is an all-suite traditional Luxe Motor offering very comfortable accomodation for up to 6 guests.

The accommodation comprises of:
An exceptionally large Royal Suite with either one double bed or two singles, 2 armchairs and coffee tables. This is a very luxurious suite with large bathroom with a bath.
The red -carpetted Commodore Suite is very welcoming with standard size double bed and a large bathroom.
The Ambassador Suite with double bed at the rear of the boat has it's own private access and well appointed bathroom.

Opening port holes, lighting and ample storage in each suite.

The boat is centrally heated throughout and air-conditioned.
The dining room/day room with it's bright furnishings is ideal for eating and relaxing.
Wood, brass fittings and soft furnishings all combine to create a wonderful atmosphere.
On the sun deck relax on the superior deck furniture and with a dip in the swimming pool measuring 3m50 x 2m x 1m70.

ITINERARY
Chateau la Chassagne
Friday
One of the crew will meet you at the Château de Chassagne near Dijon at 5pm, for the private transfer to the Niagara.
Enjoy a Kir –Royal cocktail welcome – one of Burgundy’s traditions.
After a visit to Dijon accompanied by the captain, we return to the boat for a superb candlelit dinner served with regional wines.

Chateau la Chassagne -Fleury-sur-Ouche
Saturday
Our cruise begins during breakfast – enjoy the view as we cross Lake Kir to reach Velars sur Ouche.
As we cruise along the canal, guests may choose to relax on deck or take a spot of exercise by walking or cycling alongside the boat on the well-maintained tow-path.
After lunch, we continue cruising to Fleury-sur-Ouche where we moor for the night.

Fleury-sur-Ouche - Gissey
Sunday
Today brings us to the heart of Burgundy in the Valley d’Ouche.
We cruise past Medieval Pont de Pany, the Chateau Chassagne and St Marie sur Ouche.
Our final destination is the rural village Gissey, from where we set out in the minibus to explore the surrounding countryside.

Gissey
Monday
Beaune is our excursion destination today.
We visit the world famous Hospice de Beaune, still used as a hospital until recent times and now an excellent museum, and the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame.
Don’t forget your cameras as Beaune has some of the regions finest architecture.
A wine tasting in a traditional cellar and lunch in a restaurant add to this wonderful day.

Gissey - Pont d'Ouche
Tuesday
This morning’s cruise take us to Saint Victor and La Bussiere where we visit the Cistercian Abbey and it’s fine gardens. After lunch, we continue sedately past Vecivey and on to Pont d’Ouche.
An afternoon excursion to Chateauneuf –en-Auxois, an ancient town perched high on the hill offering magnificent views, takes us back to Medieval times.

Pont d'Ouche - Vandenesse
Wednesday
Sit back to enjoy the scenery today as the Captain negociates his way through numerous locks between Pont d’Ouche and Vandenesse.
If you are feeling energetic, why not give him a hand with the ropes? You may prefer to take a last dip in the pool of course!
Our day draws to a close with the Captain’s Farewell Gala Dinner at which you will receive your locks certificates.

Dijon
Thursday
After a hearty breakfast, we will transfer you back to La Chateau Chassagne, the train station or Dijon airport.
